RVR EURO-NYMPH REEL

Bauer spent over two years developing the RVR reels. They began with a groundbreaking and modern design, but the complexity of machining it proved to be a significant challenge. The double-anodized finish and intricate design were too difficult for a conventional 3-axis machine to handle. To overcome this, Bauer invested in the latest 5-axis machines, resulting in a reel that is both visually striking and a testament to their innovative manufacturing process.

This reel's super large arbor is specifically designed to handle the unique capacity needs of the level lines used in European-style nymphing. Since these fly lines lack the typical thick belly of traditional lines, the spool size and capacity are significantly reduced. It's the perfect reel for "hi-stickers."
